The first place you see upon entering the house, the spacious sunken sitting room is a beautiful calming space bathed in natural light, with high ceilings and suspended rattan lanterns. Furnished with bespoke rattan furniture, generous seating areas and a playful bar area overlooking the lush gardens, this social space is wonderful for gatherings.

Kitchen

The bright, airy kitchen is fully equipped with a range oven, a Nespresso machine and double fridge/freezer for guests. Complete with a terrazzo island and bobbin high chairs, this pretty pink space is perfect for catching up over coffee or tea. Or enjoy a cooking class with our in-house chef!

Bask in those holiday vibes as you savour leisurely mornings on the breezy verandah where breakfast is served. From tables for larger groups to cosy coffee tables for two, take your pick from the pretty rattan seating areas, while enjoying immersive views of the pool and local countryside at every turn.

Palm Suite

The Palm Suite is our largest room situated slightly away from the other rooms for utmost privacy. It features a four poster bed, a seating area and a large walk-in wardrobe, with a bright open-concept bathroom and French doors opening out to a spacious verandah with some of the best views from the house.

Shell Room

A small cozy nook with wrap around seating and plump cushions, the Shell Room is great for spending a relaxing afternoon in. Be it for early dinner drinks, board games on a rainy afternoon, or just a quiet place to read a book – you’ll love this thoughtfully inviting space!

Pearl Suite

The Pearl Suite is our second largest suite with a spacious terrace offering stunning views of the garden and pool. Accessible from the beautiful arched entrance hallway, the rattan and wicker room has an adjoining door to the Peacock Suite, perfect for families or bigger groups. It features a king sized bed, a spacious terrace and an airy walk-in shower area.

Peacock Suite

The Peacock Suite is our iconic twin bedded room with an adjoining door to the Pearl Suite, perfect for families with young children or friends travelling together. The whimsical room features two green barley twist four-poster beds, with a walk-in shower with a small outdoor courtyard, and a spacious verandah balcony with built-in seating.

Pol Suite

The Pol Suite is the perfect coastal oasis decked in charming blue and white furnishings. It has a king sized bed and is the only room with an outdoor shower, allowing you to bathe under the stars in utmost privacy. The room also has a private verandah with built-in seating, overlooking lush garden views.

Lionel’s Bar & Ambalama

The pretty in pink Lionel’s Bar hits the spot with delectable cocktails on fun rattan stools! The large dining table under the cinnamon roof is perfect for al fresco gatherings overlooking the pool. Situated adjacent to the pool, the elevated Ambalama provides wonderful views of the paddy fields below. Designed with a local cadjan roof from coconut palm leaves and concrete fretwork inspired by Galle Fort.

Pool

A well-loved gem within the house’s lush tropical gardens, the elevated terrazzo pool features a unique natural beach-like deck, bringing a slice of the beach right to you. Enjoy yoga by the pool or lounge a lazy afternoon away with a book and drink in hand. The lawn and gardens surrounding the pool are also great for a game of croquet!
